DJ SURF
Born in Bedford, England in 1984, Surf moved to Spain (Andalucia) in the late nineties. At aged 16 he became interested in club music and dj’s profession. At 18 he finished school and started training as a sound technician for a local company for 4 years.
After tens years in Spain, Surf quit his job and his life to end up on the beaches of the Philippines. Being half english, half filipino, Surf tried a big move on the Philippine scene.
His dj career so far has seen him play in some of Manila and Boracays most prestigious clubs, consistently wowing crowds with his style, preparation, distinctly unique mixing and energy behind the decks.

His sets are always fresh, original and well thought about, combining upfront house tracks, yet to be released tracks, promos, white labels, and club classics
-This ensures that Surf stands out from the rest.
Surf so far is one of the 4 resident DJ's at Hey Jude Bar on Boracay island, Philippines. Having been resident for almost 2 years now.
AND
DJ KRISTIAN HERNANDEZ
Kristian first gained notice as a gifted turntablist when he won the Australian Qld. DMC Championships in 1999 and 2000 . Soon he was setting dancefloors and airwaves alight as the host of Australia's longest running Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk and R and B Radio show, Blackbeat on 4ZZZ fm (www.blackbeat.com.au). He parlayed his early education in latin rhythms, jazz subdivisions, funk meters, soul melodies and hip hop culture into fluency and easy familiarity with more exotic sounds such as the beats of House, the etherealness of World Music, the excess of Breaks, the irregular meters of jazz, the heat of latin grooves and the surge of Drum n Bass. It is no wonder that Kristian Hernandez has become a much sought-after musical performer, opening for acts as varied as Basement Jaxx, The Black Eyed Peas, Carl Cox, DJ Craze, De La Soul, Felix Da House Cat, Gang Starr, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Mark Rae, Miguel Migs, Mix Master Mike, Moby, Norman Jay, Public Enemy, Roger Sanchez and jojoflores just to name a few. In addition to his solo world tours, he has also DJed for bands like the Australian legendary act Regurgitator, the jazz funk fusion band Zephyr Timbre and the electronic Soma Rasa. Not content to rest his laurels, Hernandez is also the brains behind Audio K, Heavy Boogie, and the EKLEKTIKS, an evolving live concept where Hernandez is joined onstage by various live musicians and other DJs.
Currently, Kristian is residing in New York after having plied his trade the past few years in both Sydney and London. Equally at ease playing for small crowds in the dark rooms of London or for large amphitheatres full of 50,000 people, one never knows where one will find Kristian next but one thing remains certain—wherever he is, people will be listening.
